This vitamin breaks down carbs and fats and can turn them into energy for your body. It helps with making your skin clear and it can reduce signs of aging. You can find this vitamin in meat, avocados, eggs and legumes.
Vitamin B6: Pyridoxine
This vitamin is another one that helps prevent heart disease because it regulates the amino acids. It has also been known to prevent your mood and help you have a normal sleeping pattern because of the hormones it helps to produce. You can find this vitamin in chicken, salmon, cheese, brown rice and carrots.
Vitamin B7: Biotin
Called the “beauty vitamin” because it helps with the healthy growth of your hair, skin and nails. It is also necessary to have this vitamin during pregnancy for the baby’s proper growth. You can find this vitamin in fish, potatoes, chicken, egg yolks and nuts.
Vitamin B9: Folate
This vitamin, called Folic Acid is another one that is important for women during pregnancy as it helps with the growth of the baby. It is also known to help reduce depression and prevent memory loss. You can find this vitamin in root vegetables, milk, asparagus and dark greens.
Vitamin B12: Cobalamin
This vitamin helps produce red blood cells along with vitamin B9. It is mostly found in meat products, therefore vegetarians may not get as much as a person who eats meat. You can find this vitamin in fish, shellfish, beef, pork and eggs.
